Bubba Watson Cried During His Masters Press Conference, and It's Just Another Reason to Like the Guy
By Michael Shamburger
Bubba Watson isn’t just a Masters winner, a “rapper,” and Mr. Hovercraft – he’s also an emotional guy. During his Masters press conference Tuesday, Watson was asked what the most interesting thing he did in or with his Green Jacket was. His response brought him to tears. Watson said that he went home and wrapped his 1-month-old son Caleb, whom he had just adopted with his wife Angie before the Masters, up in it.
“That’s the only thing I did with it,” said Watson. “Out of respect and honor for Augusta National, one of the greatest clubs we have, one of the greatest tournaments, I didn’t do any of my funny antics I would normally do.”
Watson is one of the most well-liked players on tour and after watching the video above, it’s pretty obvious why.
