Capitals - Flyers Brawl Highlighted By Three Players Going After John Erskine
The Capitals – Flyers game turned into a brawl in the first period following a big hit in a bad spot by Luke Schenn on Ryan Stoa. From there, it’s a mess. Here’s what I think happened: John Erskine started with Luke Schenn, but he was on his knees. As another fight broke out, Erskine moved away from the scuffle and was followed by Wayne Simmonds, Vincent Lecavlier and Luke Schenn. Just your basic three-on-one hockey fight. A bunch of penalties were called. I think that about sums it up.
And what trip to Philly would be complete without some double-bird action?
