Charles Barkley Went In On Skip Bayless Again

During a discussion on Inside the NBA Monday night, Charles Barkley decried the idea of talking heads opining on sports as if their thoughts represented concrete facts. We know Barkley likes the PTI guys, but can assume he was talking about just about every other debate show out there, especially First Take. As Barkley briefly acknowledged, he has a longstanding distaste for Skip Bayless (it goes back at least since I was writing for my own personal blog in 2012.)

This wasn’t the most cogent Barkley segment of all-time—he briefly drops the never played the game card, and from time to time has broadcasted declarative analysis that he accuses others of—but I do get where he’s coming from when he says that a lot of these talking heads give off an air of clairvoyance that in actuality no one possesses.
