Chaos scenarios were irrelevant. The committee process will work without controversy, as it has no hard decision to make. Undefeated ACC champ Clemson is in. The three one-loss conference champions – Alabama, Oklahoma, Michigan State – will join them. Tomorrow will be about slotting bowl games.
There’s no debate about the four teams. The question is whether Michigan State jumps Oklahoma to move to No. 3. If you’re the Spartans, you probably want to stick at No. 4 and face Clemson in the first round.
