Crying Portland Timbers Bro is the Saddest Bro Around
By Mike Cardillo
The Portland Timbers were eliminated by Real Salt Lake in the MLS Western Conference Final Sunday night by a 5-2 aggregate scoreline. Chances are you had no idea this happened since MLS scheduled the game on at the same time as the Patriots/Broncos, the Walking Dead and all the other powerhouse Sunday evening television.
No matter, ESPN cameras caught this sad Portland fan weeping midway through the second half. We’ve all had a laugh at “cry-punching” but this might be the first example of “cry-cheering.”
Somebody give this guy a hug … or some fair trade quinoa.
