D'Angelo Russell Hated by Lakers For Secretly Recording Nick Young Talking About Cheating on Iggy Azalea

The Lakers are an unmitigated disaster this year, and if you thought the 48-point loss at Utah Monday was rock bottom, think again: LA rookie D'Angelo Russell ‘secretly’ recorded teammate Nick Young talking about the women he’s cheated on his fiancee, Iggy Azalea, with, and now that the tape has become public, his teammates are freezing him out.

Here’s the audio, which emerged nearly a week ago:

This is how juvenile it has gotten, according to ESPN:

"The emergence of the video, sources said, has been the talk of the locker room for the past several days and has led to a tangible strain between Russell and some teammates. At a recent breakfast meeting, one source said, no Laker would sit with Russell at his table. The source added that, in another instance, Russell came into the locker room and sat next to guard Lou Williams, who got up and walked away."

This was probably a joke that somehow got out, and of course Russell is going to catch heat. Perhaps this is a great trade opportunity for someone who wants a franchise-caliber point guard on the cheap? Yes, I’d fully expect the Lakers to do something foolish like trade Russell and keep that clown Nick Young.
