Dan Campbell: Interim Head Coach With a Hairy Legacy

Dan Campbell is the interim head coach of the Miami Dolphins after the firing of Joe Philbin. Campbell, 39, played 10 seasons in the NFL as a tight end. During his time in the league, he had some amazing hair. As you can see, he’s changed quite a bit since his playing days ended. Let’s take a closer look at the transformation.

As you can see, Coach Campbell cut his hair. See, when you’re a former wild-haired football player who become a professional football coach, you have two choices – get a hair cut or look like Rob Ryan. You can be taken seriously and become a head coach or you can be an overrated defensive coordinator. The choice is yours A.J. Hawk.

Here’s Campbell yelling at Michael Egnew on Hard Knocks during the 2012 preseason. That’s a stern educator right there. No frills. No fun. The transformation was nearly complete….
