Dan Le Batard Banned From Hall Voting, Suspended For One Year By BBWAA

The BBWAA has brought down its hammer. ESPN’s Dan Le Batard has been banned from voting for the Baseball Hall of Fame and will have his BBWAA membership suspended for one year, after submitting the 10 candidates voted in by Deadspin readers. Le Batard, who wished to protest the “hypocrisy” and “flawed voting process,” is surely gutted by the decision.
Le Batard was not among the 25.2 percent of HOF voters who left Craig Biggio off ballots. The clown who voted for Armando Benitez remains a member in good standing.
