Dan Le Batard Says He Was Once Suspended from PTI for a Year for Blasting Bob Knight Movie

Dan Le Batard was praising the upcoming 30 for 30 miniseries on OJ Simpson as a masterpiece on his radio show, and interrupted himself to qualify that he was not just being a company man with the compliments.

He noted that he was once “quietly” suspended for a year from PTI for calling a Bob Knight movie (presumably this 2006 reality series from when Knight was coaching Texas Tech?) a “mountain of elephant crap.”

Our site actually previously covered Le Batard acknowledging this suspension in a 2009 conversation with Bill Simmons, but none of us had immediate recollection of that, and we felt like it was a worthwhile anecdote to revisit.
