Dioner Navarro, Pudgy Blue Jays Catcher, Steals 2nd Base
By Michael Shamburger
Dioner Navarro, Toronto Blue Jays catcher, stole second base on Wednesday night against the Houston Astros. Navarro hasn’t stolen a base since 2009 and only has 10 stolen bases in 10 years, but he had no problem showing off some wheels while Astros’ reliever Josh Zeid was on the mound. This was probably a hit-and-run gone wrong but Astros catcher Jason Castro was apparently so shocked by the situation that he unleashed an errant throw.
