England-Peru Soccer Match Completely Overshadowed by Greatest Paper Airplane Toss of All Time

Fans attending yesterday’s friendly between England and Peru were given cards to make the cross of St. George during the national anthem. Many unruly spectators then re-purposed the material for paper airplanes. Soccer fans are a notoriously rambunctious lot.

One supporter used the paper free-for-all to author perhaps the most impressive toss in flimsy aviation history.

Watch as the heave from Wembley’s upper deck floats all the way down to the pitch and strikes Peru defender Hansell Riojas in the head. Riojas was thankfully uninjured (those things have been known to take an eye out), but understandably shocked.
