Ernie Els Seven-Putted the First Hole at the Masters
By Michael Shamburger

Ernie Els is a four-time major champion who has twice finished second at the Masters. He’s also had the putting yips before. On Thursday he had two feet left for a par on the par-4 first hole and he finished with a 10.

Just saw video of Els on No. 1, which was absolutely a 7-putt and one of the ugliest displays I've ever seen from a pro.

Ernie Els' 10 on No. 1 is the worst-ever score carded there by 2 shots. Four players had made 8 there.

UPDATE: Not that it makes it any better, but apparently Els score was amended to a nine and he missed only six putts inside of two feet, not seven.
EJECT!
