Fan Attending LSU-Ole Miss Dies From Apparent Heart Attack

A fan attending LSU-Ole Miss game in Baton Rogue died of an apparent heart attack late Saturday night. According to numerous reports the incident was not tied to fans running onto the Tiger Stadium field following the Tigers’ 10-7 upset of previously-undefeated Rebels. The LSU Sports Information department issued a statement, confirming an adult male suffered a heart attack in the lower bowl of the south end zone. Emergency crews tried to revive the fan inside the stadium, but were unsuccessful.
