Florida Atlantic Defensive End: "[Alabama] can be beat. We got speed against them." The Owls are 51-point Underdogs.
By Jason McIntyre
Florida Atlantic of the Sun Belt conference, is 1-2 and coming off a 56-20 thumping at the hands of Georgia. Last year, the Owls went 1-11. The Owls are 50-point underdogs against Nick Saban’s defending champs. But here’s what FAU defensive end Cory Henry had to say about the Tide:
"“They ain’t what people think,” Henry said. “They’re good and everything but they can beat, too. They just execute well. They just execute and beat you.” And Henry was not through. He was then asked if FAU had any kind of advantage. “We got speed against them,” he said. “You got speed you can win.”"
Right. Sun Belt speed!
FAU got paid $1 million for getting pummeled by the Bulldogs; the Owls will also receive a cool million for the ignominy of losing by about eight touchdowns to the Tide. [Palm Beach Post]
