Former WWE Wrestler Alberto Del Rio Says He Was Stabbed this Weekend

Alberto Del Rio, whose real name is Jose Rodriguez, recently parted ways with WWE, and is now wrestling for various promotions, including the Mexico-based AAA. As the Wrestling Observer noted, he missed a big show on Sunday.

There were apparently a lot of questions surrounding the absence and if it meant he had a job lined up at another promotion, like TNA, but Del Rio shared a statement and graphic photo on Instagram saying that he missed the scheduled AAA appearance because he was stabbed before his flight:
