For many American soccer fans, it’s been a bit of “out of sight, out of mind” for Bale after moving from the Premier League to Spain in the summer for the GDP of a small country. Goals like this remind us why Madrid payed that kingly sum ($130 million, actually) for the Welshman’s services.
