Gary Kubiak Collapsed at Halftime of Texans - Colts [UPDATE]
By Jason McIntyre
Gary Kubiak, the head coach of the Houston Texans, collapsed at halftime as the teams were leaving the field to head to the locker room. No other details are available yet, but we’ll update this post as soon as we get them. The Texans are surprising the Colts, 21-3.
[UPDATE: NBC Sports reports that Kubiak has been taken to a local hospital for ‘precautionary’ reasons.]
The health of coaches will certainly be a hot topic this week in the media, given that Denver lost coach John Fox due to heart surgery.
UPDATE #2:
David Nuno has close up footage, showing Kubiak in obvious pain. Michele Tafoya says, though, that it was not a heart attack, per the Texans organization.
