Gary Kubiak Fired as Coach of the Houston Texans
By Jason McIntyre
Gary Kubiak has been fired as coach of the Houston Texans, Jay Glazer of Fox Sports reports.
The Texans, who were a playoff team the last two years, have lost a staggering 11 games in a row, including an embarrassing 27-20 loss to the lowly Jaguars last night, a game in which they committed 14 penalties for 177 yards. The Texans were swept by the Jaguars this season.
Houston has the worst record in the NFL, and is on track to have the 1st pick in the draft. I’d get excited about a Clowney/Watt frontline, but the Texans badly need a QB. But they might been in need of a new GM, as well.
