Grant Hill & Tim Duncan's Excellent Lockout Commercial from 1998
By Tim Ryan
During the NBA lockout in 1998, Grant Hill and Tim Duncan filmed a commercial poking fun at the unfortunate circumstances that come with experiencing a lockout. Hill’s performance was convincing and endearing, and Timmy was wisely kept dialogue free. The NFL would have been wise to do something of similar nature this year, if for no other reason than to create a wildly tense debate on Twitter as to whether or not players should be making light of an otherwise trying, difficult time. At least we know that if the NBA indeed locks its doors once again, we’ll get a little humor too.
And while it has been said on this site before, it bears repeating just how atrocious those Pistons uniforms were.
