Help Save Oregon Cheerleader Amanda Pflugrad's Scholarship!

And now there’s some drama unfolding on the Oregon cheerleading squad, and Pflugrad may or may not be at the center of it.

Oregon unexpectedly fired its cheerleading advisors last week. This comes about a month after photos of Pflugrad on an alleged booze cruise hit the web. She wrote in to Busted Coverage, asking them to take down the photos – they obliged; her scholarship was on the line! – because the athletic department was none-too-thrilled with the CRAZY idea of college kids drinking and dancing on boats. (Sure is a good thing Matthew Stafford left early, huh?)

With the Ducks football team hogging lots of TV-time this year in its quest for the Pac-10 title – three, possibly four nationally-televised games on ESPN – it clearly is in the school’s best interested to let bygones be bygones and not yank Pflugrad’s scholarship. Go Ducks!
