Is Derek Jeter Going to Marry Hannah Davis This Weekend?

Derek Jeter has been retired from baseball for what, like four days – barely enough time for his AARP Discount Coupons to arrive in the mail — and he’s already started his own Internet publishing platform for athletes. Oh right, according to TMZ, he might also get married to girlfriend Hannah Davis this weekend at a glitzy bash on Long Island at the famous Oheka Castle. Of course TMZ totally hedges its bets writing:

"Now here’s where things get tricky — we’ve spoken with multiple sources who tell us the event in question is a retirement party for #2 … and other sources who SWEAR it’s a wedding."

Well … the wedding part is in ALL CAPS, so maybe it’s true! Perhaps if TMZ acquired the guest list and if it included any of Jeter’s former flames we’d be able to wager a better guess. There were rumors Jeter and Davis were engaged last year, for whatever that is worth in the world of celebrity gossip.

Derek Jeter retired from baseball AND off the eligible bachelor’s market … all in the same week? Cra-zy. What a time to be alive.
