Jabari Parker Went Coast-to-Coast, Threw Down a Thunderous Dunk
By Kyle Koster

Jabari Parker turned good defense into efficient offense by grabbing a rebound and going the length of the court for a high-flying slam against East Carolina. The momentum-shifting play opened up a five-point Blue Devils’ advantage against a pesky Pirates team late in the second half. Parker’s 21-point performance helped sixth-ranked Duke hang on for a 83-74 win. The highly touted freshman became just the second player in school history to score at least 20 points in each of the first five games of his career.
