Jacksonville's ABC Affiliate Cut to Commercial During the Colombia-Greece Match
By Kyle Koster
With Colombia enjoying a two-goal lead late in the match against Greece, Jacksonville’s ABC affiliate, WJXX, decided to pay the bills with a few commercials.
This was good news for anyone looking to get revenge on the pharmaceutical industry, learn about digital marketing or buy a Ford truck. It was bad news for anyone interested in the match.
Luckily, the unscheduled interruption didn’t cause viewers to miss any goals.
Expect the soccer-loving community to use this as another opportunity to go full Dangerfield over the blatant lack of respect afforded to their preferred sport.
