Bayern Munich’s Jerome Boateng scored this fantastic late goal against his former club Manchester City, giving the German club a 1-0 Champions League win.
City have won two of the past three EPL titles. But that success has not translated in Europe. The team has two group stage exits and a round of 16 departure over the same span. Conceding those late points could prove critical in what could be a tough group.
Bayern coach Pep Guardiola liked it.
