Tim McCarver turned 72 years old today, so Fox was thoughtful enough to surprise the soon to be retired broadcaster with a glowing birthday cake — unfortunately not Fudgie the Wale — while booth partner Joe Buck gifted him with a reluctant, get it over with high five. The way these two were positioned, smoothness never stood a chance.
