Joe Buck's Farewell to Tim McCarver Was Downright Terrific

Tim McCarver called his last game on FOX Wednesday night in the Red Sox World Series-clincher vs. the Cardinals. His partner in the booth since 1996, Joe Buck, bid him adieu with a touching, honest moment which seemed to come straight from the heart. It was pitch perfect and struck the right nerve to silence even the deepest cynics on Twitter.

Say what you will about McCarver but all future Octobers will sound a lot different without him.
