Johnny Manziel Comes In For Struggling Brian Hoyer, Immediately Scores TD and Does Money Celebration
By Jason Lisk
Brian Hoyer, who was largely awful last week before leading the final field goal drive, has been awful again today. After his second interception, which set up another Buffalo field goal, the Browns were down 20-3.
Johnny Football time. Johnny Manziel had thrown one pass all year (and no completions) and until now his only on-the-field highlight was a called back trick play. He promptly came in to lead a 80 yard drive that included several nice throws, and a run for a touchdown. Guessing that–despite his Brady-ness from once playing under Tom Brady–we won’t be seeing Brian Hoyer next week.
