Jozy Altidore Hat-Trick Sparks 4-3 USMNT Win Over Bosnia-Herzegovina [Video]
By Ty Duffy
The summer of Jurgen continues. The USMNT came back from a 2-0 half-time deficit against Bosnia-Herzegovina to win 4-3, with Jozy Altidore scoring three goals in 27 minutes for his second hat-trick. That’s seven goals in five matches for Jozy and a record 12-straight wins for the United States.
It’s a great win, though it should be noted Bosnia-Herzegovina subbed off four players at halftime and six players total. That may have had more to do with the USA comeback than the tactical switch to a 4-4-2. That said, it was the 9th-ranked team in the world according to SPI.
