Justin Blackmon of the Jaguars Suspended for 4 Games for Violating League Policy on Substance Abuse

Justin Blackmon, the 2012 1st round pick of Jaguars who had a weak rookie season – well, except that one game he torched Houston for 236 yards – has been suspended the first four games of the NFL season for violating the league policy on substance abuse, according to multiple reports.
Blackmon, a star at Oklahoma State who went 6th overall in the draft, can’t be called a bust yet, especially when he’s catching pass from Blaine Gabbert. Blackmon was productive in his last four games – 308 yards receiving, two TDs – and there was some hope that it would carry over into 2013.
But now he’ll have to sit out the first four games, and hope he doesn’t get passed on the depth chart by … oh wait, there’s no chance he gets passed by anyone, what a terrible group of receivers.
