Katy Perry will be the surprise celebrity guest-picker on ESPN College GameDay when it visits The Grove before the showdown between top-ranked Alabama and Ole Miss, as confirmed by ESPN spokesperson Keri Potts on Twitter. Perry is playing a concert in Memphis on Sunday and her manager is an Ole Miss alum … so there’s your connection.

Perry and Kirk Herbstreit already have some banter going on Twitter.

This all should mean some creative sign work, right?
