Kimbo Slice made his boxing debut last night against James Wade, a guy with so little name-recognition that I think he also has a share of the lead at the PGA Championship right now. It’s almost too perfect. A 10-second KO in his boxing debut… Kimbo has always been a hard puncher as his various YouTube highlights show. The problem with MMA is that there are people prepared to negate your heavy hands with some grappling. There’s no wrestling in boxing and I’m guessing Kimbo’s promoters can find a long line of 39-year-old journeymen ready to get knocked out in exchange for a paycheck.
