Kobe Bryant Helped Unveil a "Championship Banner" for Taylor Swift at Staples Center

Taylor Swift has sold out a record 16 shows at Staples Center. She still has lots of work to do before she catches up to Billy Joel.

The accomplishment was given its proper ceremony last night with the help of a surprise appearance from Kobe Bryant. Swift, who always looks like she can’t believe what’s going on, looked like she she couldn’t believe what was going on.

Bryant noted that sharing the stage with America’s favorite pop star scored him cool points with his children and said some other nice things. Expect to see a “has Kobe gone soft” chryon pop up on Pardon the Interruption this week.

He certainly was nicer to Swift than he’s been to most of his teammates.

The banner itself is pretty snazzy. So snazzy, in fact, that Doc Rivers may let it remain on display during Clippers games.
