Marlins Owners Offering a 50 Percent Off Groupon For Opening Day Tickets

Miami-Dade County made a ten-figure investment to keep the Marlins with a new ballpark. It’s already proving to be money horribly spent. Things went awry last season. Morale, for the few fans that exist, has reached rock bottom. The Marlins are now so desperate to sell tickets they are offering a 50 percent off Groupon, for Opening Day. Because even half-off was not enticing enough, they will toss in a $10 merchandise voucher.
Another cash-strapped municipality fleeced. Another notch on Bud Selig’s shillelagh.
