Marreese Speights Ran From Gang Members Who Tried to Steal His Jewelry

Marreese Speights, a valuable reserve on the best team in the NBA, had a gun pulled on him this week in a parking lot outside a club, a TV station in San Francisco is reporting.
According KTVU, the Golden State Warriors backup center was out early Monday morning when a convicted felon pulled a gun on him. Gang members then tried to “rob him of his gold chains.”
Spreights, who is 6-foot-10 and 250 pounds, then ran away.
Officers quickly arrested the gunman, a 28-year old named Michael Jackson.
