Marshawn Lynch Fined $20K for Grabbing Junk, NFL May Fine Him More For Skipping Post-Game Media Interviews
Marshawn Lynch has been fined $20,000 for grabbing his junk in celebration of a late touchdown against the Packers (he’s made a similar gesture at least twice before, and is fortunate he wasn’t penalized during the game), according to Adam Schefter. The ESPN insider adds that the Seahawks running back could be fined “significantly more” than $50,000 for skipping his post-game media availability.
Given that players only make $44,000 to play in conference championship games, this past Sunday may wind up having been a significantly unprofitable business venture for Lynch.
