Mike Ditka Hot Dog Promotion at Soldier Field Goes Awry
By Kyle Koster
There are two deadly sins in Chicago. The first is insisting deep-dish pizza is some sort of overrated bastardization of real pizza. The second is slighting Mike Ditka in any way.
With that in mind, hellfire is about to rain down on the person responsible for this typo. It ruins the fun-filled combo that is cheap domestic beer and encased meat named after a living legend.
Seriously, this is no laughing matter.
"“These sausages embody Chicago. The tradition, the teams, the fans, the big appetites,” Mr. Ditka said in a news release. “Chicago deserves a monster sausage they can be proud of.”"
This unfortunate snafu is proof positive that nothing good can come of the fourth preseason game.
