Mike Napoli Doesn't Like Elvis Andrus' Abe Lincoln Beard

Mike Napoli knows beards. When the former Ranger went on a Texas radio station this week, he was asked about the beard that his former teammate, Elivs Andrus is sporting this season. As Cardillo pointed out last week, Elvis Andrus has an Abe Lincoln beard. Napoli is not a fan. Via SportsDayDFW:

"“Elvis’ beard is terrible, by the way. Horrendous. He cuts half of his chin off, too I was just up there getting on him about it. Yeah it’s terrible. He looks like Abe Lincoln. … He has to cut that thing off. It’s so bad, it’s almost embarrassing.. .. I can’t even look at him it’s so bad.”"

The Rangers and Red Sox play today and tomorrow. Hopefully the teams don’t let the tension from Napoli’s words boil over onto the field.
