Mike Zimmer was not in a good mood after his quarterback Teddy Bridgewater was knocked out of the game on a dirty hit after he had slid to the turf. Zimmer did not stop to speak to Jeff Fisher after the overtime field goal won it, and he was still incensed after getting to the locker room.

He told reporters, “if we were on the street, there probably would have been a fight,” in regard to the hit. He also referenced history with defensive coordinator Gregg Williams. Williams, you might recall, was in the middle of Bountygate when he was the coordinator with the Saints. He agreed that it was a “cheap shot,” and added that Williams’ defenses “are all like that.”
