Ndamukong Suh to the Dolphins: 6-years, $114 Million with $60 Million Guaranteed
Ndamukong Suh to the Dolphins has been a constant topic amongst NFL reporters this week, and Chris Mortensen just swooped in with the numbers — a six-year deal said to be worth $114 million with $60 million guaranteed. The contract cannot become official until Tuesday. Suh is a menace on the defensive line, which already included Cameron Wake, but this move is not without risk. Suh has been suspended for his on-field conduct in the past, and narrowly avoided league discipline this past December after his suspension for stepping on Aaron Rodgers’ leg was overturned.
Even if Suh can stay out of trouble on and off the field, this is a steep price for Miami to pay for a non-quarterback. Perhaps, though, the numbers represent what will be the new market for elite pass rushers as the NFL cap rises.
