The New York Giants had an awful 2023 season. Daniel Jones, fresh off a big contract extension, struggled mightily in the first five weeks of the campaign, leading New York to a 1-5 record before he got hurt. When he came back a month later, he tore his ACL. His woes are a microcosm of how things went for the Giants. They were never able to recover from their brutal start while shuffling backup quarterbacks and pretty much every important player took a step back, except Dexter Lawrence. The lone bright spot was the Tommy DeVito experience that took the nation by storm and gave the Giants a spotlight they would've otherwise missed down the stretch of a lost year.

This upcoming season is going to be a big one for several individuals within the organization. Brian Daboll is on the hot seat after he was unable to capitalize on the team's playoff run in 2022. He was also on the receiving end of several unflattering reports suggesting he is not a good boss (i.e. the Wink Martindale debacle). Jones needs to deliver or the Giants will ditch him next offseason. They built an out into his contract that would allow them to trade or cut him with a relatively minor cap hit. There is quite a bit at stake and it'll be an illuminating look into how bright the immediate future is for Big Blue.

However, not everybody from that 2023 squad will be around to do so. Here are five Giants players who won't return in 2024.
