Bryce Huff

Huff was one of the bright spots for the Jets last season. Undrafted out of Memphis in 2020, Huff had a career-high 10 sacks last season which led the team. He also finished fourth on the team in tackles for a loss. And he did it all without actually starting. Now he's set up for a nice new deal. If the Jets want him back, they'll have to pay. Via the New York Post:

“I’m not giving any discount,” Huff said. “I worked so hard. I feel like I owe it to myself and my family and the people around me to maximize my earnings. I’m definitely open to every scenario and every team. I just want to do what’s best for me at the end of the day.”

This is absolutely the right attitude for Huff who should be encouraged to seek riches elsewhere, as the Jets are not exactly overflowing in cap space and will be using the money they do have to ensure Rodgers stays upright next season.
