NFL Threatened Marshawn Lynch with $500K Fine,Russell Wilson Wants Rules Changed to Stop Fining Lync

The NFL threatened Marshawn Lynch with a $500,000 fine, according to Ed Werder, if he did not show up to Media Day. No wonder he showed up just to help, in some small way, contribute to the farce that is Media Day, and answer every question with “I’m just here so I don’t get fined.”
What Lynch is doing by showing up and responding in the way he does is jerk-ish, but I mean, if he wanted to pay a smaller fine, so be it, let him do it and move on. So the NFL jacks it up to $500,000? That’s the most absurd thing to emerge from Media Day.
Russell Wilson had a few thoughts on what rule he would change about the NFL, by the way.
