“Transfer Deadline Day” is always a fun day to sit back and monitor soccer in England from afar. Sky Sports broadcasts, live, all day with breathless updates from outside the club’s facilities. There’s a lot of talk about contracts being faxed. Sometimes the players and coaches are interviewed from their cars. Misinformation tends to rule the day.

All the fun used to be simulcast on Fox Soccer Channel, until Fox shuttered the network after it lost the Premier League rights.
