Notre Dame's Jerry Tillery Kicked Injured USC Player In Head, Stomped on Zach Banner
By Ty Duffy
Notre Dame defensive lineman Jerry Tillery made himself notable in the rivalry against USC. He kicked USC running back Aca’Cedric Ware, down with an apparent head injury, in the head. He also deliberately stomped on Zach Banner’s foot as he lay on the ground. Either offense would have been a straight red card in the other football.
Tillery was suspended before Notre Dame’s Fiesta Bowl appearance last year. He won’t have to worry about being suspended for the bowl game this season, as Notre Dame playing in one. The nightmare Irish season is not ending on a high note.
