Older Lady Pulled Over By Tennessee Police After They Mistake Her Ohio State Decal for a Marijuana Symbol

A 65-year-old woman driving home from a funeral in Columbus was pulled over by Tennessee police because they mistook a Buckeye leaf decal on her car for a marijuana sticker. She’s not happy about it.
"“It’s just amazing they would be that dumb,” Bonnie Jonas-Boggioni said."
She and her husband were on their way to Plano, Texas, where she heads the Ohio State Alumni Club, when two police SUVs flagged them down outside of Memphis.
Jonas-Boggioni explained the decoration with the help of a sweatshirt commemorating the team’s 2002 national championship she just happened to be wearing. Something tells me scarlet and gray play a crucial part in her wardrobe.
The officers soon realized the sexagenarian’s only crime was loving the Buckeyes too much and let her go, but not without a warning to remove the decal. She did not comply.
"“I said, ‘You mean in Tennessee?’ and he said, ‘No, permanently.’ “I didn’t take it off. . . . This little old lady is no drug dealer."
You can take Urban Meyer out of SEC country, but you can’t keep him from getting under the skin of its residents.
