The Detroit Tigers bullpen through the first two games of the ALDS has not been very good, especially in the eighth inning. Through the first two games the Tigers’ pen has allowed 12 runs in the eighth, including Friday’s Joba Chamberlain-led dumpster fire that turned a 6-3 lead into a 7-6 deficit, capped by a bases clearing three-run double by former Tiger Delmon Young. The work this fan made to make this sign paid off.
Well except if you’re a Tigers fan like me.
Soria and Chamberlain combined this postseason: 1 1/3 IP, 7 H, 10 R (9 ER), 2 BB, roughly 40,000 broken TVs in the Detroit metro area.

Joba lowered his ERA from infinity to 108.00.

Detroit went meekly in the 9th and now head home in the series down 0-2. The last 13 teams to fall behind 0-2 in the ALDS have lost the series.
