Phil Jackson Rips Anyone Questioning The Triangle Offense
Phil Jackson met with the media on Thursday and re-affirmed his commitment to the New York Knicks. He also got a little snide with anyone who questioned his devotion to the triangle offense.
He confirmed that the triangle would remain an integral part of the team’s future and if you questioned that, your opinion didn’t matter much.
Gotta love an all-time great coach pulling rank. Oh you don’t like the way I’m doing things? I can’t hear you over the sound of all these rings.
Jackson was clearly not pleased at some of the questions he got from the assembled media members, and he cut the interview off abruptly after just 17 minutes.
The Knicks finished the 2015-16 season with a 32-50 record and missed the final Eastern Conference playoff spot by 12 games.
