Player Rumors: Vince Young to Minnesota, Miami Interested in DeAngelo Williams

Young may have one additional thing going for him if the Titans release him and move on-availability. The labor talks and a potential lockout during the offseason may limit trades such as a move for Kevin Kolb or Donovan McNabb, and the price may be more palatable. Young is an interesting case. Coming in, there were questions about his throwing motion and mechanics; going out, the questions now revolve around his ability to operate on a team and be a leader. He’s not a hopeless case, but he’s going to have to grow up quickly. I’m not sure going to an organization that just coddled a quarterback and let him operate outside the team concept is a great immediate first step.
