Police: Greg Anthony Used Computer to Make Cash-for-Sex Offer
By Kyle Koster
Greg Anthony was one of “multiple people” arrested in a prostitution sting at a Double Tree hotel in Washington, DC, according to police.
The report indicates the CBS basketball analyst used a computer to offer cash in exchange for sex. He was charged with misdemeanor solicitation and has a Feb. 3 court date. The charge carries a maximum sentence of 180 days in jail.
Both CBS and Turner Sports have suspended Anthony, who called last year’s Final Four. He was scheduled to work this afternoon’s Michigan State-Maryland game in College Park.
Anthony, 47, and his wife, Chere, had a daughter last year.
