Rickie Fowler Wins 2015 Deutsche Bank Championship, is Definitely NOT Overrated
By Michael Shamburger
Rickie Fowler was voted one of the most overrated players by his peers in a poll that was released in May and he’s been out to prove them wrong all year. Fowler missed the cut at The Barclays, but on Monday, at the Deutsche Bank Championship, Fowler came from down three strokes with eight holes to play to edge out Henrick Stenson. Stenson held the 54-hole lead and finished second for the second straight tournament; he’s now fourth in the FedExCup standings.
The win is Fowler’s third this year and his second on the PGA Tour this season; he moved into third in the FedExCup standings and into the top five in the Official World Golf Rankings.
